Dr. Vicky Than is an accomplished optometric physician who is dedicated to providing the highest level of eye care to all her patients. With a passion for helping others, she goes above and beyond to ensure each patient receives exceptional care and an unforgettable experience.
Born in Vietnam, Dr. Than is fluent in Vietnamese, English, and Spanish, and is able to provide comprehensive eye examinations in all three languages. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside, and attended the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico for her optometry degree. Her first job at a local optometry office sparked her love for the field, leading her to pursue a career in optometry.
Dr. Than fell in love with the Gulf Coast area of Florida during a rotation in Pinellas County in her fourth year of optometry school. After graduation, she relocated to Tampa Bay and joined Beyond 2020 Vision Specialists, where she provides a wide range of services including comprehensive eye exams, medical exams, and foreign body removals. Her compassionate approach and warm demeanor create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
In her free time, Dr. Than enjoys spending time with her family and her furry friends, as well as exploring new restaurants. She is dedicated to her profession and is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in optometry to provide the best possible care for her patients.

I am extremely happy with the eye exam I received this morning with Dr. Than. I was able to make the appointment online yesterday, which was also a plus to get in so quickly. Dr. Than and her associate were very professional and friendly. The exam was very thorough and I’m sure I will be happy with my new prescription. I highly recommend Dr. Than & Beyond 2020 Vision Specialists.
Beyond 20/20 in Costco Westchase is amazing! It was so easy to make an appointment and get my eye exam. The girl that checked me in and did part of the pre-exam for the doctor was amazing and helpful and sweet. She was very professional as well as Dr. Vicky Than. I had put in my been putting my exam off because I don’t like those eyedrops that dilate your eyes, but they have an option that they can scan them and see behind your eye without having the annoying drops and not being able to see for 30 minutes afterwards. My whole appointment start to finish was so easy and the price prices are fair. Do not hesitate to visit this location they are amazing.

Best eye exam ever!! Dr. Than and her staff are very professional, kind and knowledgeable. The visit was quick and very informative. Before I always felt like after my eye exams my prescription was not as accurate, the new prescription I got today was very good and I am so happy to see things this clear. 1000/10 Recommend them!!
Dr. Vickie Than was very pleasant. She fitted me for contacts and glasses and had me try samples of both to ensure my vision was perfect. I called Friday, made an appointment for Saturday, received sample contacts and ordered both contacts and glasses right after the appointment. It does not get any easier than that.
Dr. Vicky Than was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to detail was something I have not had since my lasik surgery in early 2000s. Thank you Dr. Than, I have found my new eye doctor. I highly recommend her.
