Family Owned Since 2020

A family practice, not a franchise.

Beyond 2020 is independent and family owned. Dr. Tumolo grew up in Tampa Bay from the age of two and opened the practice here in 2020 with his wife, Dr. Than. Yes, Beyond 2020 really did open in 2020.

Eye care runs in the family. His father, Dominick, was a licensed optician for 30 years. Dr. Tumolo and his brother, Stephen, followed him into the field, and Dr. Than is co-owner and one of our optometrists. When you visit, you're cared for by the family that owns the practice.

We're also a clinical teaching site for the Rocky Mountain University College of Optometry, helping train the next generation of eye doctors. Read the news
