Dr. Chelsea Nissinoff is an optometric physician who brings a strong clinical background, residency training and a genuine passion for patient-centered care to Beyond 2020 Vision Specialists. She sees patients at our Lakewood Ranch office inside Visionworks, providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with a special interest in myopia management, contact lenses, dry eye treatment, and the diagnosis and management of eye disease.
Dr. Nissinoff’s journey in eye care began in upstate New York, where she worked as a licensed optician before becoming an optometrist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from SUNY Cortland and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She then completed a residency in ocular disease at Nova Southeastern University, further strengthening her ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions.
Dr. Nissinoff believes good eye care goes beyond a prescription. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine, careful clinical attention and genuine compassion. She puts a strong emphasis on patient education, taking the time to make sure each patient understands their eye health, their treatment options and the steps they can take to protect their vision.
