Privacy Policy
Your privacy, respected.
How our website collects and uses information.
Effective October 18, 2026
Your health information
This policy covers our website only. Health information you share with us as a patient, at our offices, by phone or through our scheduling system, is protected under HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. You can ask for a copy at either office or by calling us.
Please don't send medical details through email or website forms. Call the office instead.
Information you give us
We collect information you choose to share, for example when you:
- Call us
- Request an appointment through our online booking, which is run by our scheduling provider
- Join the list for updates about our Westshore office
- Create an optional account to view or update your Westshore sign-up
This may include your name, email address, phone number and preferred appointment time. If you create an account, your password is handled by Google's sign-in service and is never visible to us.
Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted by Google (Firebase), and Westshore sign-ups and accounts are stored securely with Google Cloud. Like most websites, it automatically collects basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit. It uses cookies to run and secure the site and to count visits. We may also use website analytics, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and schedule appointments
- To send updates you asked for, such as when the Westshore office opens. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To run, secure and improve the website
- To meet legal requirements
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, scheduling and email, and only so they can provide those services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, such as Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, Visionworks and online publications. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any message.
- Ask us to update or delete the contact information you've given us by calling the office. If you created an account, you can also update or delete your sign-up and account yourself from the account page.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13. Parents and guardians book appointments for their children.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
