New glasses, today.

At our Odessa office, most single-vision glasses are made while you wait, usually in an hour or less.

Your lenses are made in our own lab, right in the office, so there's no waiting a week or two for new glasses. Bring a current prescription from any eye doctor, or bring your glasses and we can make a new pair from them. Patients come in from Odessa, Trinity, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Keystone and nearby Tampa.

Lost your glasses, broke your only pair, or just don't want to wait? Here's how a same-day visit works.

  • Have your eye exam with us, bring a current prescription from another eye doctor, or bring the glasses you want copied
  • Choose from our in-stock frames, or bring your own frame
  • Our opticians make your lenses in our Odessa lab
  • We fit and adjust your new glasses before you leave

For same-day glasses, plan to arrive and finish your order at least two hours before we close: by 4 pm Tuesday through Friday, or by 3 pm on Saturday. Call ahead and we'll check that your prescription and frame can be made the same day.

Our lab in Odessa shapes each lens to fit your frame, then our opticians mount, check and adjust your glasses before you leave. Because it all happens in the office, you can wait in our optical, run a quick errand nearby, or browse frames while we work.

Most frames work, including your own. Rimless frames that are held together with small screws through the lenses usually need to be ordered.

Choose an affordable standard lens or upgrade to thinner, lighter and smarter lenses. All of these single-vision options can be made while you wait in Odessa. They cover most everyday prescriptions for nearsightedness, farsightedness and mild to moderate astigmatism; very strong prescriptions are ordered and take longer.

Same-day glasses FAQ.

How long do same-day glasses take?
Most single-vision glasses are ready in an hour or less, depending on your prescription and frame. Please arrive and finish your order at least two hours before closing: by 4 pm Tuesday through Friday, or by 3 pm on Saturday.
Can I use a prescription from another eye doctor?
Yes. Outside prescriptions are welcome as long as they haven't expired.
I don't have my prescription. Can you copy my glasses?
Yes. We can read the prescription from your current glasses and make a new pair to match, whatever their age.
Can you make kids' glasses the same day?
Yes, and we do it often. Kids break and lose glasses, so polycarbonate lenses, which are light and impact-resistant, can usually be made while you wait.
Can I put new lenses in my own frames?
In most cases, yes. Rimless frames held together with small screws through the lenses usually need to be ordered.
Can I use my vision insurance?
Yes, vision insurance can be used for same-day glasses. Call us and we'll check your benefits before your visit.
Are progressives or prescription sunglasses made the same day?
Progressives and other specialty lenses are custom made and take longer. For sun, gray light-responsive lenses can be made the same day; polarized sunglass lenses are ordered.
Can I get same-day glasses at the East Lake office?
Glasses ordered at our East Lake office in Palm Harbor are made in our Odessa lab and are usually ready in 1 to 3 days. For glasses today, visit our Odessa office.
